One for all: Heating and cooling with one device
According to current demands of industrial production and trade, with only one device for all rooms nordluft not only offers the possibility of all-year heating, but also of all-year air-conditioning.
The original, round shape of the casing reflects the sophisticated design of the devices.
The casing, which is made out of powder-coated sheet steel, is isolated inside in order to avoid condensing when the device is being operated with cold water. For cooling, there is also a galvanized condensate-tub installed inside the device. A drain leads the water out of the casing.
In oder to change the direction of the airstream, lamellas can be adjusted individually.
The heat exchanger is made out of copper pipes with pressed-on aluminium lamellas that ensure an ideal transition of the warmth that is produced. Connections for forward- and return- flow are leading out of one side of the device.
As standart, the devices have two-stage, three-phase AC motors 4/6-pole (900/1,400 rpm) with a thermal contact. The motors are protection class F and type of protection IP 55. On request, also three-phase motors 6/8-pole (700/900 rpm) or three-stage, three-phase AC motors 1 x 230V, 50 Hz, 4/6/8-pole (700/900/1,400 rpm) are available.
The ventilators are sickle-shaped, which ensures an especially quiet operation. A zinc-electroplated protecting casing, including a vibration isolator, is installed at the casing.
